The focus of the project will be on performance evaluation techniques for defense mechanisms against training data extraction attacks, such as membership inference. In this study, the implementation and evaluation to measure inversion-leakage resistance will be done on image and/or network traffic datasets that are widely used, moderately complex, and have own labels.

You will

  • Have the freedom to conduct the thesis according to own methodology and it is advised to focus on interpretability evaluation methods.
  • Studying papers related to evaluating defense mechanisms against training data extraction attacks.
  • Implementing methods one of proposed methods.
  • Performing experiments to evaluate on machine learning models with different security levels.
  • Do proof of concept demo, thesis paper and presentation.
