Our Exciting Opportunity

At Ericsson, we are investing heavily in the future 5G technologies where groundbreaking development is key. To continue the journey, we are now looking for a passionate and driven manager to leading one of the RFIC teams in Kista, Sweden. In your role you will be responsible for team development and also to aid in RFIC development work including third-party contacts.

The section manager role includes leading a results-oriented diverse team of ASIC designs implementing state-of-the-art RFIC crucial for our radio products. This opportunity allows you to get insight, drive and empower us in the intricate work of developing our game-changing future RFIC's! In practice this means a responsibility via the team to develop RFIC products from specification via design and verification to validation, industrialization, and internal customer integration and support.

This position reports to the Head of RF&MS IC .

You will

  • Be developing and coaching a highly skilled team of ASIC engineer to deliver state-of-the-art RFIC solutions
  • Continuously improving ways of working and operational efficiency within the competence area
  • Ensure competence development and work environment for the team
  • Collaborate within the RF and MS IC team as well as relevant departments within the product development to release new radio products and implement new radio architectures
  • Be responsible for the internally developed RFIC IPs and components in terms of quality, performance, and producibility

To be successful in the role you have

  • In-depth and documented experience of high-end RFIC design concepts and implementations
  • Proficient in RF and mixed-signal design
  • Superb communication skills with IC engineers and senior management
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver IC IPs and/or IC components for product development with both high quality standard and efficient project execution in mind
  • Experience from leading results-oriented team in a volatile environment
  • Inspiring leader attitude which leads with empathy and humanness to grow technical leaders
