Our Exciting Opportunity

Solution Area Communication Services drives the transition from circuit switched communication networks to IP based communication networks to enable the networked society. Solution Area Communication Services manage a competitive and profitable product portfolio addressing the communication services market, including a high-quality Mobile Circuit Switched Core (MSS), IP Multimedia System (IMS), Signaling control (DSC and IP-STP) and Regulatory solutions (Lawful Intercept).

We are now looking for a Head of PDU COS to continue to secure our leadership within Communications Services (COS) and position COS for an exciting future. We work in a fast-paced, ever changing industry, so you will need to have a disruptive mindset, be courageous and have the perseverance to lead the PDU into our future with our customers.

Key Qualifications

  • Significant experience in leading large R&D organizations
  • A proven track record of driving large scale R&D transformation
  • Track record of delivering results
  • You have a genuine interest in technology and organizational dynamics
  • Ability to operate at the level required for Ericsson's core business
  • A challenger mindset always looking to improve from the norm
  • You have a strong understanding of the market and business
  • Strong leadership skills, high ethical standards and an ability to engage people and interest in developing talents
  • Formulating strategies and concepts and taking strategy into action
  • Education: BSc in Engineering/Computer Science or similar, MBA desirable

  • Understand and take ownership for the full TCO (total cost of ownership) perspective of developing and delivering software to our customers


Functional/Technical Background

  • High interest and capability to understand technical trends to capitalize on opportunities and to understand where the industry is going
  • Experienced in creating learning organizations striving for continuous improvement e2e based on trust and transparency
  • Experience in developing Cloud native software and good understanding of Cloud deployments for telco application
