Our Exciting Opportunity

AI Platform Engineering Lead is responsible for driving and delivering the framework for deploying end to end data pipelines and machine learning models in cloud environments. The lead drives the engineering team to ensure seamless and efficient industrialisation of machine learning models. They manage the overall solution architecture and interdependencies between the architectural components.

You will

The responsibilities of the Platform(Cloud) Engineering Lead include:
  • Manage platform development and support team
    • To assess technical bottlenecks and process problems for the platform implementation
    • To advise team on the shortest and most efficient path through the systems to implement features on the platform
    • Identify the risks and prepare mitigation plan
    • Ensure timely delivery of the platform
    • Manage issues reported by platform users and provide timely fixes
    • Planning for roadmap features based on discussion with DPO
    • Being link between DPO, Architect and Team to ensure proper information flow and avoid any gap in understanding
    • Ensure Quality KPI are within defined limits and overall product quality is good
  • Software/Platform delivery accountability
  • Provide insights and reports to the management on the progress
  • Nurture and assess software developers in the team
  • Facilitate and ensure that developers follow the industrialization standards best practices


To be successful in the role you must have

  • 5-6 years or more of verified hands-on experience building exciting and innovative applications, or equivalent open-source contribution
  • 5-6 years of verified experience designing and building software systems. i.e planning out infrastructure, cloud platform components, etc
  • Experience working in or leading an agile team, or experience leading a product team with several agile teams working toward a common goal
  • Experience designing and leading engineering systems and DevOps, i.e managing the process of building software/platform
  • Hands on experience with Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure; namely choosing platform components and setting up infrastructure related to Machine learning models development and deployment
  • Experience in machine learning cloud platforms and components like
    • AWS SageMaker, Azure Databricks or GCP Vertex-AI
    • MLOp for model training and deployment in production
    • Model monitoring in production to identify model drift
    • AWS EKS, Azure AKS and GCP GKE
    • ETL tools like AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, GCP Cloud Dataflow
    • Storage solution like AWS S3, Azure DataLake, GCP BigQuery
    • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) like CloudFormation, Terraform etc.
