The department of Interconnect & SFP Design are now looking for a passionate and driven Line Manager to lead one of the ICD&SFP sections in Kista, Sweden. The department have global governance and consists of high skilled HW designers, Tech area leaders and Project leaders. The area cooperates with over 30 suppliers and have product responsibility for more than 30.000 interconnect products that are used in Ericsson portfolio. Our mission is to build and manage a strong HW interconnect and SFP portfolio for Ericsson.

The role includes working globally and secure that products/solutions are commercially competitive and support projects, stakeholders, supplier, sourcing and PDU´s commitments.

You will secure we have the right scope, quality, time and cost for product development, transparent communication and global knowledge sharing as well as excellent collaboration cross sites.

You will guide, mentor, challenge and develop individuals, teams and organizations, foster a creative and learning culture where the sections and the designers in the department will thrive.

You will report to Head of ICD & SFP. You have high ambitious with a curiosity to learn and a positive approach. You have experience of working in global environment with many interfaces and technically advanced stakeholders. You are flexible and proactive and will work smart to remove impediments that your design team will meet.

You will

  • Be required to drive technology and product leadership
  • Secure flow optimization, innovation and improvements
  • Coaching and mentoring to build a strong and efficient team
  • Share knowledge and learning globally
  • Represent the section and ICD&SFP in different forums in the organization
  • Handle and execute HW interconnect requirements and assignments
  • Design, deploy and execute our strategy, goals, targets & priorities
  • Handle resource management, securing relevant governance, processes, ways of working and make sure quality assurance is in place

To be successful in the role you have

  • Strong and Deep experience of R&D
  • Manager position experience min 5 years with excellent leadership skills and proven track record to inspire change, value creation and build a compelling vision for your area of responsibility.
  • Coping with pressures, setbacks and ability to lead with empathy and humanness
  • Ability to set priorities, provide direction and articulate success criteria for project and stakeholders, cross functional community, and own team
  • Capability of establishing credibility and trust with a broad range of stakeholders and act with integrity
  • Global working experience with track record of effectively working across diverse organizations and units
  • The capability to formulate strategies for a highly flexible Development Environment
  • The ability to break down barriers to support a speedy execution in a high pace environment
  • You will need excellent presenting and communicating skills
