Our Exciting Opportunity

We are now looking for a Senior Architect - End User Computing & Endpoint Securitywithin SA Digital Workspace Client Solutions. In this role you will be the Lead Architect for End User Computing & Endpoint Security solutions. You will work cross the different solutions and services to ensure the strategic and architectural fit and compatibility, and you will also work with edge cases and go deep in the technology, leading technical workstreams with hands-on coding, scripting, configuration, and troubleshooting.

This is a senior role. You have +10 years of experience within End User Computing and Client Management.

You have an established network in the industry, and you have a proven track record of contributing to the industry and its communities. You have deep understanding and hands-on experience of Endpoint Security, NextGen Endpoint Security Solutions, Privilege Endpoint Management, Vulnerability Management, and Zero Trust networking, e.g., from working within Security Operations Centers, Manage Defense, or relevant consulting assignments.

About Digital Workspace Client Solutions

Client Solutions deliver managed workplace solutions (MWP:s) to all Ericsson workforce. We deliver approx. 130.000 endpoints in a multi-OS environment. We also deliver Virtual Desktops and Applications to approx. 15.000 users. Client Solutions is also responsible for Endpoint Security & Protection, including Remote Access, Certificates, Strong Authentication, Cloud Access Security Brokering. We also host the operations and support team for MacOS (EMB) and Linux Ubuntu (ELX). During 2020-2022 we are investing heavily in modernizing the client estate and the management capabilities by leveraging 5G connectivity, cloud services, built in security with native capabilities for physical endpoint and virtual workloads. Our mission is to deliver the industry leading client solution to our Ericsson workforce. We do this based on our core principles, End-user experience, Security, Sustainability, and Economies of scale.


  • Lead the development of domain target architecture
  • Support product strategy, roadmap and optimize portfolio Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
  • Analyse and break down product strategies into architectural capabilities
  • Analyse demands, drive solutions, and ensure architectural fit for purpose
  • Accountable for architecture compliance throughout the solution lifecycle (BD1 - BD4)
  • Interface and collaborate with Enterprise Architects & IT Security (ITSAC), and other key stakeholders, e.g., Cyber Defence Center.
  • Drive and lead complex development and configuration, e.g., from POC/POV-phase until handover to Operations team.

Key Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum years of experience: 10
  • Domain experience: ICT, Cloud, End User Computing, Cyber Security

Additional Requirements

  • Proven track record of End User Computing solutions in Enterprise Environments
  • Deep knowledge and experience of Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune & SCCM), lead architect / principal consultant / Microsoft MVP or similar
  • Deep knowledge of Windows 10, MacOS, Linux Ubuntu, Citrix Workspace
  • Experience of next generation Endpoint Security solutions, e.g., CrowdStrike Falcon or Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
  • Established network in the industry. Requested as speaker on conferences and seminars.
  • Technical leader, contributing to the industry and its community.
