Our Exciting Opportunity

We are now looking for a DU Networks Market Area Engagement Manager (aka MA Lead) to represent the R&D engagement towards local sales and delivery organization and customers within Market Area Europe and Latin America (MELA) and lead the customer interactions from early phases of product lifecycle until products are in field

You will!

  • Lead DNEW engagements towards your Market Area North East Asia including the definition and execution of the strategy towards the market area
  • Work hand in hand with Market Area and Sales Support and Commercial Management on the key customers network evolution, gaps, strategic benchmarking activities
  • Hold high level technical competence and leadership to engage, meet and discuss with Senior management/CTO level on customer side together with Market Areas colleagues
  • Establish good relations with main partners in Market Area: MA Head, MA level functions & domains, Selected key customer CU's
  • Champion relations with BNEW main partners: BA Sales Support & CM, PA Network Infrastructure, PA Network Systems, Services and PDUs
  • Actively participate in Market Area XFT (cross functional team for MA).
  • Support the strategic stream for Customer Centric R&D identifying and following up strategic collaboration with customers
  • Report Weekly & Monthly Business Report and Heatmap and also host and perform customer outlook as enabler for communication with R&D programs

To be successful in the role you must have!

  • University degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Telco Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience on customer interaction from working with/within customer unit or market area
  • Outstanding customer orientation and understanding of "What needs to be done"
  • Business minded and highly developed discernment, Customer First improving Ericsson's & Customer value, anticipates Customer needs
  • Excellent skills on maintaining an effective and positive relationships with customers and partners
  • Open-minded approach with a curiosity about driving continuous improvements to the benefit of our customers
  • Experience from R&D and/or service organizations
  • Solid understanding of Ericsson's Networks portfolio. Strong technical competence on the level to discuss with CTO on customer and MA/CU side.
  • Good knowledge of Ericsson R&D processes and Maintenance & Support processes
  • Highly developed view on what leadership is in an agile and lean organization
  • Highly developed strategic thinking, Being innovative with a strong strive to build results
  • Highly developed skills on Initiating and driving central initiatives and improvements on DU/CU level
  • Proficiency in English

  • Excellent leadership and presentation skills and an ability to establish relationships across organizations and between cultures.
  • Excellent networking skills and capability to drive organizational alignment over PDU or DU borders
  • Highly developed communication and negotiation skills
  • Standout colleague with an understanding of how to work together with multiple organizations to achieve the required results, often without any formal authority
