Our Exciting Opportunity

How Artificial Intelligence, AI, will affect the society is has been a discussion for a while, however a recent discussion whether AI should be regulated is a new topic. The EU has recently issued a document on ethical guidelines for AI in respect to European values and principles. Since these guidelines are very new, it is difficult to know how they affect Ericsson and how other companies are working with Compliant/responsible/ethical AI. Therefore, the goal is to explore these guidelines and how they affect us on a specific use case.

Work description

In this work we will focus on a machine learning use case within finance to develop, deploy and use responsible AI tool from the startup VeRAI AB. You will look into the specifics of the use case, you wil learn to use the tool and adopt it to the use case. You will be responsible to compile and present the results.

This work is performed in collaboration with the Responsible Artificial Intelligence Group from Umeå University and within the WARA framework.

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Last year of Master degree studies in the area of mathematics, physics, computer science with some machine learning background.
  • You should also be able to use one programming language.
  • Languages: the candidate must be proficient in the use of spoken and written English.
