Ericsson IoT is part of the Business Area Technologies and New Business, which ventures well beyond the traditional boundaries of Ericsson's core business.

We are looking for an experienced technology leader to head up the Development Strategy, Security and Compliance organization.

This position has the overall ownership and accountability to develop and support the implementation of strategic, modern software development practices that allow the overall Technology and Engineering organization to scale software deliveries with quality, security, compliance, stability and serviceability.

You will

  • Build and develop a successful team comprised of specialists in the following domains: Agile and DevSecOps, SAFe, Automation and Infrastructure as Code, Test Strategy, Security; Compliance
  • Lead and support the IoT Technology and Engineering organization in evolving and adopting new processes, tooling and strategies that continuously improve our software deliveries and the ability of the organization to scale
  • Set the strategic vision, align the organization, measure the results, and continuously improve with regards to DevSecOps culture, practices, tooling and architecture

  • Work closely with the other leaders to drive and support the transformation strategies in implementation
  • Be up to date on the latest software and security best practices
  • Manage relations with internal and external partners
  • Have the responsibility to drive innovation and IPR within your area
  • Lead and support the IoT Technology and Engineering organization in evolving and adopting new processes, tooling and strategies that continuously improve our software deliveries
  • Set the strategic vision, align the organization, measure the results and make adjustments with regards to DevSecOps culture, practices, tooling and architecture

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Are a true thought leader with a positive and optimistic attitude to make things happen
  • Have a passion for identifying new solutions and ways of working
  • At least 10 years of experience in software development and/or as-a-service delivery organizations with Agile methodologies and ways of working, and automation technologies
  • At least 5 years in leading DevSecOps transformations through culture, automation, and architectural evolutions and/or transformations
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience around Product Security, Information Security, and Compliance and how these areas fit into a continuous delivery organization
  • Ability to clearly articulate and drive the short and long term transformations and prioritizations to support the business goals whilst ensuring compliance to our quality, security and compliance metrics
  • Ability to lead and coach other leaders and teams and support them through transformation
  • Demonstrable and successful experience(s) leading senior contributors with specialized roles
  • Outstanding relationship building as well as coaching and mentoring skills
  • Strong collaborator respectful of our people but unafraid to speak up and challenge the status quo when applicable
  • Hands-on experience developing, delivering, and supporting software products and/or SaaS solutions
  • Experience working with multi-cultural and globally distributed organization and deep understanding on how to leverage our diversity as a key strength
  • Ability to formulate and articulate an organizational vision and long-term strategy
  • Good knowledge of the Ericsson Product Development ecosystem and transformation programs is a plus
